Bows with Serious Zest!
The Punch is Pouring... and so are our hearts. My daughter Phoebe is a Cranio Kid! She was born with, here come the big words, left unilateral craniosynostosis. In short, one set of her cranial bones fused prematurely. At 6 months, a neurosurgeon split the bones apart allowing the skull to grow as it should, while a pediatric plastic surgeon helped make Phoebe's bone structure more symmetrical. Multiple surgeries later, Phoebe is today 10 years old and surgery free. Phoebe loves to help me pick out ribbon and fabric. She has hopped on board and is now designing and launching a new bow called Frazzled in support of the Children's Craniofacial Association. Our goal is to donate bows to young girls going through this difficult time and in Phoebe's words 'make the girls feel special and put a smile on their face."
